COVID-19 Update for Victoria
Over the past week, there has been an increase in the number of active cases of COVID-19 in Victoria. As a result, the Australian Health Protection Principal Committee (AHPPC) is discouraging travel to and from the local council areas of Hume, Casey, Brimbank, Moreland, Cardinia and Darebin until control of community transmission has been confirmed.
Seven of our re-opened stores are located in these areas, with a further two operating behind closed doors. With the extensive safety and cleaning procedures that are currently in place, we will continue to remain open for trade.
Some of our team members will be in situations where they move between local council areas, and you may have questions on how this applies to you. We suggest raising any concerns or queries in the first instance with your Line Manager.
We also remind all team members that if you are experiencing any of the symptoms of coronavirus (COVID-19), however mild, please stay home, seek medical advice and get tested.
We will continue to monitor and assess how this advice may impact our teams and stores. Area Managers will be in contact with teams shortly and we’ll provide further updates based on government advice today.
If you have any concerns or questions at this stage, please discuss with your Line Manager.
