These Terms and Conditions govern the Salvos Stores Rewards Program (‘Rewards Program’) in conjunction with our Privacy Policy

In these Terms and Conditions “we”, “us”, or “our” means The Salvation Army (Victoria) Property Trust (ARBN 143 615 169 Incorporated in Victoria) as Salvos Stores. 

1. Membership 
Membership to the Rewards Program is free. You may register to be a member of the Rewards Program if you are aged 16 years or over and have a current Australian residential address. 
To become a member, you can provide your details to one of our team members at any participating Salvos Store. In due course, we will be allowing prospective members to register for the Rewards Program online -<a href="">http://www.salvosstores.com.au</a>.

2. Salvos Stores Rewards Program

You do not require a physical rewards card to participate in the Rewards Program. When you make a qualifying purchase at Salvos Stores, a team member will search for your account on the register using the details you provide. However, if you would prefer to use a physical rewards card, a recyclable rewards card can be issued to you in store. Once the recyclable rewards card starts to wear out simply swap it over in store for a new recyclable card. 
You may terminate your membership at any time for any reason by:

<ul><li>calling 13 SALVOS (13 72 58); or </li></ul>
<ul><li>notifying one of our team members in store. </li></ul>

3. Earning Points and Rewards Credits 
Rewards Program points are earned on the purchase of donated items available from any participating Salvos Stores (‘a qualifying purchase’). The purchase of new items, gift cards and donations made to Red Shield Appeal in store do not constitute a qualifying purchase for the purpose of the Rewards Program. 
Every time you shop at Salvos Stores and link your rewards account by providing a team member with your details or your membership card, the amount of any qualifying purchases will be recorded against your account. Points are credited to your account on the basis of 1 point per $1 spent on a qualifying purchase (e.g. $10 spent on a qualifying purchase will equate to 10 points). Points are then automatically converted into rewards credit on your account on the basis of 5 cents per 1 point (e.g. 10 points would equate to 50 cents rewards credit). 
Salvos Stores reserve the right to reverse points and rewards credits where a transaction is cancelled or a refund is given. You agree that we may correct erroneously earned or invalid points and rewards credits, or adjust for reversed transactions, at any time even if it would put your card into a negative points/reward credits balance. 
You may check your rewards credit balance at any time in store, or by contacting us at <a href="http://www.salvosstores.com.au/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">www.salvosstores.com.au</a> or 13 SALVOS (13 72 58). We may, at our discretion, periodically send you a rewards credit summary using the contact details you have provided. We may also make your rewards credit balance available to you in other ways (for example, on a receipt for an in store purchase). 
Salvos Stores rewards credit does not expire unless you do not earn or redeem any points/rewards credit on your account for a period of 12 consecutive months, in which case your points/rewards credit will automatically expire and we may also terminate your membership and close your account without notice to you. 
Salvos Stores rewards credit is redeemable only by the account holder and subject to compliance with these Terms and Conditions. You cannot transfer, sell, or give your Rewards Program credit to any other person. 
Salvos Stores rewards credit is not redeemable for cash or able to be used in any way other than as set out in these Terms and Conditions. 

4. Accessing your Rewards Credit   
Once you have registered to the Rewards Program and have earned rewards credits, you may use the credits to purchase goods in store. 
1 point equates to 5 cents of rewards credit. 
Any unredeemed credits will remain on your Rewards Program account for future use, but will expire unless you do not earn or redeem any points / rewards credits on your account for a period of 12 consecutive months. 

5. Your Obligations 
It is your responsibility to inform us if: 
<ul><li>your personal details change (such as your address, email address or phone number). Without your correct details, we may not be able to contact you about your account or send you offers or rewards. We may need to restrict operations on your account (such as the ability to redeem points) until we have your current details; </li></ul>
<ul><li>your card is lost or stolen.</li></ul>

6. General 
We may, at our discretion, make any change we see fit to these Terms and Conditions, including, without limitation: 
<ul><li>the number of points earned on qualifying purchases; </li></ul>
<ul><li>the number of points required to redeem rewards credit; </li></ul>
<ul><li>the value of rewards credit per point; </li></ul>
<ul><li>the items included in qualifying purchases; and/or </li></ul>
<ul><li>the period for expiry of existing or future points and/or rewards credit in your account.</li></ul>
We will give you notice of any change to these Terms and Conditions as set out at our sole discretion, via the Salvos Stores website and/or by direct communication sent to your email address. 
We may terminate your Rewards Program membership immediately and without notice where you: 
<ul><li>fail to comply with these Terms and Conditions; </li></ul>
<ul><li>provide misleading information or make any misrepresentation to us in connection with Salvos Stores Rewards Program points or rewards credit; </li></ul>
<ul><li>are abusive or offensive to any of our Salvos Stores staff or volunteers.</li></ul>
In our absolute discretion, we reserve the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Rewards Program at any time. We will not be liable to you for the termination of the Rewards Program including, without limitation, for any unredeemed points and/or rewards credit in your account at the time of termination. 
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. To the extent permitted by law, our liability for a breach of a right or remedy in connection with these Terms and Conditions is limited to the cost of replacing the goods you have acquired from us to which the breach relates. 

7. Collecting Personal Information 
Protecting your privacy and the confidentiality of your personal information is of critical importance to us. 
We may collect your personal information (including your name, gender, date of birth, address, telephone number and email) for the purposes of communicating with you in relation to the following: 
a). providing you with tailored products, services or offers; 
b). advising you of any rewards and redemption details applicable to your membership of the Rewards Program; and 
c). notifying you of any new products, discounts, promotions or upcoming events. 
By becoming a Rewards Program member, you agree to us contacting you in relation to the above. 
The way in which we collect, use, hold and disclose your personal information is detailed in our Privacy Policy (<a href="https://www.salvationarmy.org.au/about-us/governance-policy/privacy-policy/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">https://www.salvationarmy.org.au/about-us/governance-policy/privacy-policy/</a>). 
We will not sell or trade your personal information. 

8. Communications and Opt Out Process 
We may provide marketing communications and targeted advertising to you on an ongoing basis by telephone (including SMS), electronic messages (including email), through our digital services, and by other means. We may disclose your personal information to organisations involved in providing contracted services to us, such as information technology services, marketing services and mailing functions.

You may elect to unsubscribe from future communications at any time. 
 
9. Consequences of Non-collection 
You are not obliged to provide us with your personal information. However, if you choose not to do so, we may be unable to provide a product or service to you.
