Originally written in French by Henri Charriere, this book is his memoir detailing his wrongful conviction for murder and subsequent imprisonment and escapes. Patrick O'Brian's translation has made it a classic in both French and English.
Dustjacket is a little care worn, but the book is in excellent condition.
