These antique round-lens spectacles were widely popular from the late 19th century through the 1920s
The centre nose metal has some letters printed on the underside, I can make out the word Auroid, and google says the term auroid was a proprietary trade name used by some manufacturers to describe a specific type of gold-filled or gold plated material used for eyeglass frames. Apparently, according to google again, these are characteristic of the Windsor style.
