Own a genuine piece of English Antique Pottery!

This is an exceptional example of Royal Doulton's highly popular 'Coaching Days' Series Ware. Manufactured in England in the early 20th century, this piece is a collector's delight, celebrating the romantic era of horse-drawn stagecoaches.

Key Features:

Manufacturer: Royal Doulton, Burslem, England.

Pattern: 'Coaching Days' Series Ware, Pattern Code D.2631.

Dating: Based on the backstamp and D-number, this item dates to the initial run of the pattern, likely c. 1906–1922.

Form: Large Fruit/Salad/Serving Bowl with an elegant, scalloped (wavy) edge.

Design: Features a detailed, hand-coloured transfer scene of a stagecoach with figures and horses, finished with a dark painted rim.

Collector's Value:

Series Ware items, particularly in the desirable 'Coaching Days' theme, are becoming increasingly difficult to find, especially in larger serving pieces like this bowl. This is a substantial and early example of the series, making it a fantastic investment for any serious Doulton collector.

Condition:

Excellent antique condition for its age (over 100 years old). The colours remain rich and vibrant. There is light, clean crazing visible under inspection, which is commensurate with the age of early earthenware. No chips, cracks, or repairs.
