Antique Salviati Moser Venetian Rich Cobalt Blue Glass Bowl - San Marco Basilica (Munano, Italy)
pre-owned in excellent mint condition
Featuring handblown glass from the Salviati glassworks in Murano, Italy and hand painted enamel decoration from Moser glass in Bohemia (now the Czech Republic).
*Design: The bowl is embellished with intricate white enamal hand-painted in a lace-like pattern known as Merletto (the Italian word for "lace").
*Imagery: Your specific piece features a detailed depiction of the San Marco Basilica (St. Mark's Basilica) and St. Mark's Square in Venice.
*Material: It is made of rich cobalt blue glass.
*Age: These items typically date from the late 1800s to early 1900s.
