Pre owned, no dust cover, fairly good condition vintage 1944 hardcover book. Cloth cover stained (see photos), ink marks on inside and adjacent front page. 
This collection features a selection of short stories from William Saroyan’s early career. Saroyan was a prominent American writer known for his works about the Armenian immigrant experience in California. He won several accolades, including the Pulitzer prize for drama in 1940 and an academy award for best story in 1943.
