A carved wooden trinket box featuring an ornate black finish, relief carvings of foliage, and small brass feet. This item is an antique-style hand-carved footed jewelry casket (or trinket box), heavily inspired by European Gothic Revival and Black Forest woodworking traditions from the late 19th to early 20th century.
Key Characteristics:
- Material & Finish: The casket features dark-stained or ebonized hardwood with high-relief ornamental scrollwork, typical of traditional European relief-carving styles.
- Design Elements: It features a tiered, architectural lid capped with an ornate turned finial handle. The lower base stands on stylized metallic or brass feet.
- Interior: The box is lined with velvet material to protect fits contents
