This vintage handbag is a Marquessa designed by Eldonian, a British brand with deep roots in equestrian craftsmanship.
Based on it structured silhouette, gold tone metal frame and specific clasp style, this bad likely dates to the 1950s or 1960s.
Marquesa bags from this area were produced in genuine reptile skin ( crocodile, lizard or snake skin. Because of the care instructions that were in this bag, it would be one of the above just not sure which one.
The bag is in very good condition outside and inside except for the inside zip. The outside is perfect and it also comes with a matching coin purse and mirror.
