Empty Wooden Cotton Reels (36) in a Foley & Court Tin

SKU: 8655-11684594
The item is no longer available

36 Assorted empty wooden cotton reels from brands such as Model, Dewhurst's Sylko, J & P Coates and Glosylk, in various sizes and shapes.
The cotton reels are stored in an empty Foley & Court Assorted 1 kg Toffees & Caramels Tin.
The tin has no rust or dents but there is a glue residue around the lid, and the cotton reels are in various conditions - most have labels, some both ends, while there are some that do not have labels.
Most thread manufacturers ceased using wooden cotton reels in the 1970's, making these items very appealing to the right collector.
