In the days before Google if you wanted to look up an ailment or how to do first aid you'd need something like a Modern Medical Counsellor A Practical Guide to Health. This is a terrific book and very interesting. There are some colour plates along with B&W photo's. Some practices would be well outdated on today's standards. Definitely vintage
