This is a "Storm of the Dolphin" limited edition collector plate from The Franklin Mint Heirloom Collection.
- The plate is made of fine porcelain and features artwork by American artist Delmary Dennis.
- It depicts three dolphins swimming underwater while a thunderstorm with a bolt of lightning rages above the ocean surface.
- The plate is part of a discontinued "Dolphin Series" and was produced circa the 1990s.
- Each plate in the series is a limited edition item, often with an individual plate number on the back.
