These 2 items are a vintage Hollinshead & Kirkham (H&K Tunstall) serving bowl produced in Staffordshire, England.
Design Details
• Pattern: This specific pattern is called'Old English Sampler'(also frequently referred to as 'Old English Needlepoint' or 'Country Sampler').
• Aesthetic: It features a distinctive cross-stitch or needlepoint style transfer design depicting a vibrant bouquet of spring flowers (including pansies, tulips, and primroses). The rim is decorated with an intricate, lace-like gold chintz or gold filigree border.
• Era: This collection was manufactured during the Art Deco era, typically dating from the1930s to the 1940s.
