This small 'market bag' (with a shoulder-length strap) is made from plastic, often repurposed from evironmental waste (fishing nets) and turned into cultural art. The continuous loop pattern (and loose threads on edges) signifies that it is not manufactured but handwoven. The origin is uncertain however the bag is in indigenous colours.
