A cutting board made from the cross section of a Huon Pine log. The board was made in Tasmania due to the used wood being native to that region
Is is unclear what the board was previously used for. While the board can easily double as a serving tray or platter, there are marks on one side which are of an unclear origin
The board itself is largely undamaged, with the only visible potential damages likely due to its manufacturing process and wear rather than due to use
The board measures at roughly 25cm long by 17cm wide and 3cm tall. Given the nature of the material used to make it, the measurements are at their respective longest points as the board is not a uniform shape
