Edited by W.H. Bryan and published by S.G. Reid, Government Printer, Brisbane in 1961. This first-edition hardcover provides a period overview of Queensland and contains approximately 208 pages, including photographic material.

Includes a large fold-out Queensland reference map showing towns, transport routes and areas associated with cattle, sheep, sugar growing, dairying, the Great Artesian Basin and other features. The map is marked as compiled by the Survey Office, Department of the Government Printing Office, November 1958.

Green cloth hardcover with black title and Queensland/Australia graphic to front. A Baker's Book Store, Brisbane label is present inside.

Pre-owned vintage condition with visible age-related wear, marks and discolouration to the cover. The fold-out map has age spotting, discolouration and fold creases. Please refer to photographs for overall condition.
