Traditional Vessel
bowls are typically carved from a single piece of wood, often a dense hardwood like Vesi, a native timber of high value, it also has features that have symbolic meaning and a Triangular lug.

Kava bowls, also known as 'tanoa' in Samoa, are traditional ceremonial vessels used for preparing and serving kava, a ceremonial drink made from the roots of Piper methysticum plant and water. These bowls are central to social and religious ceremonies in many Pacific Island cultures. They are served in chiefly meetings or ceremonies.
