This pottery operated in Tel Aviv - Jaffa from 1944-1990. Founded during the British Mandate, this factory originally produced industrial tiles and sanitary ware.   In 1949, under the stewardship of Kurt Musberg, Lapid opened its famous pottery division.
They blended local Israeli motifs and archaeology, with European and Scandinavian mid-century modern design principles. As new condition. Numbered 212.
