Preowned, in good condition, vintage Leon Franks on Techniques instruction book is a soft cover paperback focusing on oil painting techniques, still life arrangements, and colour theory. It contains full colour lithographic pages and tone with breakdowns to show students how to blend vibrant shadows and highlights without turning the paint muddy. Leon Franks was famous for teaching a heavy and pastel technique using both brushwork and pallet knives to add 3-D like texture to canvas art.
