The Magimix Gelato Expert is a premium built-in compressor ice cream maker.
Control Panel Button Functions:
The control panel features five buttons divided into a Manual Mode section (left two buttons) and an Automatic Cycles section (right three buttons):
❄️ Freezer Unit (Far Left): Manually controls the built-in cooling compressor. Pressing it turns on the freezing system to pre-chill the bowl or keep it cold.
???? Churning Paddle (Second from Left): Manually controls the mixing paddle. This allows you to control exactly how long your dessert churns if you prefer not to use a preset.
???? Gelato Program (Middle): An automatic cycle designed for light, airy, and ultra-smooth Italian-style gelato.
???? Ice Cream/Sorbet Program (Second from Right): An automatic cycle tailored for traditional artisanal ice cream, creamy sorbets, and frozen yogurt.
???? Granita Program (Far Right): An automatic cycle that creates a coarser, ultra-refreshing semi-frozen texture perfect for granitas or frozen cocktails.
Key Operational Features:
- Storage Mode: When an automatic cycle finishes, the machine intuitively senses the texture and switches to a 2-hour storage mode to keep the dessert perfectly chilled. The active program button will blink slowly during this phase.
- Dual Bowl System: It includes a 2-liter fixed bowl and a 2-liter removable bowl, letting you make consecutive back-to-back batches
