Marcucci Deruta Decorative Oval Plate
This beautiful oval plate is hand-painted Italian majolica from the renowned artisan workshop of Maioliche Fratelli Marcucci, located in Deruta, Italy.
The floral design features a central bouquet in cobalt blue and ochre, with the motif repeated on both long sides of the plate, and edged with each of the three colours used in the design.
The signature on the front, followed by DIP - "Dipinto a Mano" meaning Painted by Hand - indicate that this is an artisan piece.
There is a clear makers mark on the reverse of the plate.
There are no chips, cracks or crazing.
The plate is approx. 25 cm long x 16 cm wide
