Mary-Mary is the youngest in her family,  it she manages quite well all the same. It’s Mary-Mary who gets herself invited out to tea as a ‘proper visitor’, wearing her best net curtain!

Mary-Mary runs away from home, but she only goes as far as nice Mr. Basset’s. He has rabbits to feed and ludo to play. Before long her brothers and sisters ask her to come home, please.

Lots of good things happen to Mary-Mary - and she makes sure they do.

This book is preowned but still has a great classic story to offer the right buyer and would make a great addition to any classic library. As this book was published in 1972 it does have some aging to it.
