"Merco Davron was a Melbourne based Australian fashion designer. He was known for his use of fabrics with strong geometric shapes and bold colours. Many of his designs were tailored and his tailored garments featured regularly in the Australian Women's Weekly's fashion pages from the 1960s to the 1980s. The Merco Davron fashion house won the award for tailored fashion in the 1973 David Jones fashion awards. Merco Davron also designed uniforms for Trans Australia Airlines (TAA) from about 1976 to 1984."
