Mid-Century Brass Lotus Lily Flower Ashtray - 6 Removable Petals - Hollywood Regency
Dating back to the 1950s/60s, this highly collectable piece was designed to be both decorative art and a functional social item. The heavy brass flower features six fully removable individual petals, designed to be passed around as individual ashtrays. The centre stamens, also removable, were for pipe and cigar smokers to use to clear ash or clean the pipe bowl.
The "Party Flower" features all six of the matching petal trays, and only one stamen is missing from the outer ring - it has five removable stamens and one fixed.
In fantastic condition with an authentic vintage patina and tarnish settled into the grooves of the brass.
