Battery contacts are clean.

134 REB Rollei camera flash

The bulb is in great condition.

There is old tape residue that has lost all stickiness from the previous owner on the controls but it’s back to being smooth and slick.

Indicated range of 20 Metres / 70 Feet on the adjustment slide.

x4 AA batteries

Opening the flap for the battery compartment is slide and pull.

Can have it as a 90’ angle or 45’ angle.

Personal notes;

The flash is very bright and covers a huge area, I can almost paint the entire warehouse in white light with this flash.

The little pteeewwwww noise doesn’t match the massive blast of light.

Getting hit in the face with it isn’t necessarily any worse than any other camera flash but the area is enormous; maybe 135 degrees horizontal, maybe a bit more, with the vertical flash area being about the same.

I would say the strongest part of the flash is up to about 10-15 metres range, with a radius at said range of about 10 or so metres left to right and a good 7 metres tall, and then the rest of the flash reaching far further and wider an area as mentioned above.
