These are collections of artwork by a new generation of manga
artists appearing on the manga scene after Graphic-sha began publication
of its "How To Draw Manga" series. Within each volume is featured
especially created artwork by carefully selected leading young artists
currently active in the Japanese manga and anime art scene. Also
included are designs selected from amongst published works of the
artists. In the second half of each guide, the artists offer tips on
creating artwork. These black and white pages present not only the
completed designs, but also rough sketches, thoughts at the creation
stage, and comments by the artist. With a collection of illustrations,
comments by each artist on each piece, as well as the artist's sources
of inspiration, each of these volumes is a must have for manga fans.
