This is one of those wonderful toys that is still as fun and inventive to use as when it was created.
This is an antique Etch-A-Sketch. It has a glass front screen covered with protective clear plastic and non-toxic aluminium powder material behind the front panel to create images by turning the wheels.
The accessories pack is a set of games and puzzles to be used with the Etch-A-Sketch by placing the printed clear plastic sheets over the glass front of the game.
The Etch-A-Sketch screen is in relatively good condition. There are no cracks or chips in the glass front and the plastic casing of the game is intact. There are some scratch marks on the right-hand front side of the game above the right turning knob. There is also a scratch running from the upper right corner where the screen meets the plastic to the outer edge of the plastic - this is a scratch and not a crack so far as we can tell - there is no movement in the plastic when pushed and the scratch appears to be superficial.
The box that holds the accessories pack has flattened and a previous owner has used tape to hold the flaps in at some stage. There are some signs of wear to the cardboard on the corners, but all pieces of the box are still attached. The plastic printed sleeves are in good condition. There are actually 17 puzzle sheets, one is missing and we have missed photographing 1.
