Olympus IS-1000 (also known as the L-1000 in Japan or IS-1 in North America). Released in 1990, it was a pioneering "bridge camera" that combined the advanced features of a 35mm Single Lens Reflex (SLR) camera with the ease of a compact point-and-shoot.
Lens: It features a non-interchangeable, multi-coated 35-135mm f/4.5-5.6 zoom lens made of 16 elements.
Flash: The camera has a unique built-in pop-up dual-strobe flash designed to provide coverage for both wide-angle and telephoto shots.
Focusing: It utilizes an autofocus system with a passive CCD line sensor, though manual focusing is possible via electronic buttons.
Shooting Modes: It offers several automated programs for specific scenarios like portraits, night scenes, and landscapes, as well as full manual control
