Queensland Centenary: The First 100 Years 1859–1959 – Queensland Centenary Souvenir Book.

Published in Brisbane by Penrod Publishers in 1959 to commemorate Queensland's first 100 years. Edited by Arthur H. Smout with historical material by Leslie Slaughter.

A substantial 328-page vintage Queensland history publication featuring historical photographs, illustrations, maps and fascinating period advertising from Queensland businesses.

This copy remains in good condition internally for its age, however there is notable surface damage and paper loss to areas of the front and rear covers, as shown in the photographs. General age-related wear is also present.

A wonderful piece of Queensland history and an appealing addition to an Australiana, Queensland history or local history collection.

Please refer to photographs for exact condition.
