The backstamp reads "MADE EXPRESSLY FOR FINNEY ISLES & CO. LTD.", linking this beautiful piece of china directly to the history of one of Queensland's most iconic retailers, which operated in Brisbane's Queen Street until the 1960s.

The dish features a classic post-war floral pattern with crisp white daisy-like flowers, a bold green border, and fine gold gilt edging on its scalloped rim. It’s perfect for use as a pickle dish, butter dish, or as a highly collectible display piece.
