A Royal Doulton flambe elephant, by Charles Noke, stamped and inscribed Royal Doulton, England. Flambe is a distinctive rich, deep-red glaze used to decorate pottery, particularly porcelain. It is an ancient Chinese technique revived in early 1920's by factories such as Royal Doulton. Offered is the extremely rare Royal Doulton - Flambe "Elephant with Trunk Raised in Salute".
Condition: in fantastic condition without any detected chips, cracks or restoration. Glaze in beautiful order.
