Research says made in Czech Republic in the late 19th century
The company was founded by Eduardo Eichler who was a skilled potter and entrepreneur
Royal Dux became known for its innovative designs and high quality craftsmanship and is known for its signature white matte glaze, which gives a soft velvety texture with a glossy glaze.
In 1896 it was granted the status of a “purveyor”to the imperial and royal court by Emperor Franz Joseph 1 of Austria.
Features a raised pink triangle mark on base
Has a chipped tuck end (could have been in a battle?)
Otherwise in very good condition
No other chips or cracks can be seen.
