Small Tortoiseshell Box

A small box that appears to have been made from pressed tortoiseshell. The box has been used before and while originally the container for a set of tools, is missing the accompanying items and is being sold alone
The box measures at roughly 14cm long, 8cm deep, and 2cm-9.5cm tall when closed or open
The inside of the box has a felt lined inside with grooves for the aforementioned missing tools. This felt shows signs of wear and use, with both natural colour fading as well as spots/stains from previous use
The box lid is held on by a set of silver hinges whilst also featuring a design on its face. Overall, the box does not appear damaged but is fairly scratched from previous use
