Tamworth Base Hospital Centenary Cook Book - 1884-1984
This is a wonderful piece of local Tamworth history, compiled by the Ward Hostesses of Tamworth Base Hospital.
The book has an extensive collection of recipes presented in a "tumble" layout where half the pages are printed upside down so you flip the book vertically to read the second half.
In addition to recipes it has illustrations by artist Alison Maher such as sketches of the original 1883/4 hospital building, the first Matron and classic vintage household items.
The plastic spiral binding is intact, the covers are bright and the pages are clear of kitchen stains.
