A classical Australian novel, “The Shiralee” by D’Arcy Niland is a very popular novel and has been adapted to a 1957 film, 1987 TV mini series, and a 2025 stage adaption. Set during the Great Depression, it follows a swagman and his daughter and captures the growing bond they have. This edition was published in 1958 by Angus & Robertson, and was a “Book Society Choice” and “Daily Mail Book of the Year”. 
This book is in good condition with a poor, ripped and torn dust cover (see photos).
