Vintage 19th Century Chinese Nanking Style Crackleware Ginger Jar featuring a hand-painted warrior scene on a crackle glass background.
The jar has iron red glazed bands at the top and bottom borders.
There is no lid for the ginger jar.
There is an etched mark on the base of the jar which is under glazed with the same iron red as the decorative bands on the jar.
There are no chips or cracks in the jar, and the visible "crazing" is the deliberate decorative crackle effect.
The jar is approx. 11 cm in diameter and 11 cm high.
