Add a touch of historic charm to your home with this beautiful vintage Chinese wedding basket. Traditionally used to carry gifts and food during wedding ceremonies, these baskets make stunning decorative statement pieces or unique storage solutions.
This round basket features an intricate, multi-toned split bamboo and rattan weave that highlights traditional craftsmanship. The fitted, domed lid is crowned with a hand-carved wooden Foo Dog (guardian lion) ornament, traditionally meant to guard the contents and ward off negative energy. It comes complete with integrated side hardware ring pulls for a classic look.
