A pair of vintage 1960s–1970s mid-century modern round cufflinks, constructed from textured gold-plated metal and highlighted by prominent Rivoli crystal centers.
Distinctive Features:
- Iridescent Crystals: The pointed-cone, multi-faceted stones are commonly known as "Watermelon" or "Vitrail" Rivoli crystals. They exhibit an Aurora Borealis (AB) coating, causing them to shift dynamically between deep violet, magenta, and striking cobalt blue tones under different light conditions.
- Geometric Framing: The circular brass or gold-plated settings showcase a starburst or multi-point geometric engraved pattern. This distinct framing effect gives the cufflinks their retro, Space Age aesthetic.
- Toggle Fastenings: They use standard, spring-action bullet or torpedo-style toggle backings to secure the accessory seamlessly to a French cuff shirt.
