A vintage, hand-painted ceramic wall plate created by the renowned Italian ceramic artist Nino Parrucca, whose studio is based in Palermo, Sicily.
Key Characteristics:
- Artist Signature: The piece features the distinctive handwritten signature "NINO PARRUCCA" clearly visible along the bottom rim.
- Design & Style: It depicts a whimsical bird (resembling a stylized rooster or dove) rendered in vibrant primary colors against a rich blue background. The bold outlines and expressive forms are classic examples of Sicilian folk art pottery.
- Craftsmanship: Each piece from this studio is handmade and individually glazed, making every plate unique. It is highly collectible as mid-century or late 20th-century Italian art pottery
- Plate measures 22cm in diameter
