This is a stunning example of an early Australian home appliance—a vintage electric jug manufactured by the iconic Hecla Australia. Dating from the mid-20th century (likely 1930s-1950s), this jug is a must-have for collectors of Australian kitchenalia and Art Deco design.

The jug is made of quality ceramic with a glossy pale yellow/cream glaze and a beautiful fluted (ribbed) body. Crucially, it comes complete with its original dark Bakelite element/lid assembly and the original fabric-covered power cord.
