A vintage 1984 Franklin Porcelain "Weinlese" (The Grape Harvest) wine jug, designed by the artist Rupert Schneider.

Key Details & Background:
- Origin: Issued by Franklin Porcelain (Franklin Mint) in Germany to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the German Society for the History of Wine (Gesellschaft für Geschichte des Weines e.V.).
- Design Features:Crafted from fine white porcelain with hand-embellished 22-karat gold trim accents.One side depicts a colorful scene of vineyard workers harvesting ripe grapes.The opposite side shows the celebratory merriment, dancing, and wine-drinking that follows the harvest.It is topped with a heavy, sculpted solid pewter lid and thumb lever embossed with grape clusters and vine leaves.
- Specifications: The piece stands approximately 29 cm (11.5 inches) tall, holds roughly 2 liters of liquid, and bears the artist's signature along with the German historical society's anniversary stamp on the underside of the base
