This is a preowned and very good condition traditional mechanical pyramid style metronome, made by Wittner systems pre-1990 (before German reunification) though most likely manufactured between the mid-1960’s and late 1980’s, is used by musicians to keep steady time. The tempo range is adjustable from 40 to 208 bpm using the sliding weight on the pendulum. The mechanism is spring driven, key wound clockwork requiring no batteries. The classic pyramidal housing made from black brown moulded plastic features a swinging and visual pendulum and an internal audible beat scale.
