Powerful and rare piece of WWII memorabilia featuring the iconic Prime Minister, Sir Winston Churchill!

This superb Vintage Commemorative Cabinet Plate was manufactured by BCM / Nelson Ware in England, likely during or immediately following World War II (c. 1939-1945). It is a tangible piece of history designed to embody the spirit of the British Home Front.


Item Details:

Subject: Classic portrait of Winston Churchill with his cigar, set against a backdrop of a warship and aeroplane.

Quote: Features the stirring patriotic slogan: "There'll always be an England."

Design: Decorative scalloped edge with a gold-gilt rim.

Manufacturer: BCM / Nelson Ware, Made in England.

Condition:

The plate is in good vintage condition consistent with its age. There is expected wear to the gold gilding around the rim and some faint crazing visible in the white ceramic, which authenticates its age and history. Small chip on back of plate.
