This very good condition vintage brown mink fur stole from the mid 20th century features a rich brown animal pelt exterior and a smooth brown satin inner lining. Manufactured by Biber Furs (Samual Bieber started this famous luxury brand in Sydney in 1916). The salon was a premier high-end fashion destination for wealthy women in mid century Australia. Similar pieces from this maker are kept in Australian Museum collections.
This piece is. Is missing the button enclosure which can be easily attached.
Regarding care instructions, store it in a closet away from heat and sun; never packed tightly or store in a plastic bag; if it gets wet from rain shake it out and let it air dry naturally. With regards to cleaning, take to a fur specialist.
