Australia Post Delivery Times within Australia

Metro Locations

• Parcel Post: Monday 22 December for same state deliveries and Friday 19 December for interstate deliveries**
• Express Post: Tuesday 23 December
• StarTrack Road Express: Tuesday 23 December for same state deliveries
• StarTrack Premium: Tuesday 23 December

*Excludes items sent to and from Perth, Darwin, and Hobart.                                                       ** For all items collected by one of our trucks or vans and taken directly to our processing facility. For Parcel Post items lodged over the counter, please lodge by 2:30pm.                        To be delivered by Christmas, items sent to or from these locations with Parcel Post and Express Post need to be lodged by 12 December and 22 December, respectively.

You can find the recommended last lodgement dates for all our international destinations listed on our website. While these dates are correct at time of publishing, they are subject to change.

Overseas deliveries may be affected by factors that are beyond our control such as customs delays and overseas postal disruptions, so we recommend sending as early as you can.

Through investment in our delivery infrastructure and adding more capacity across our workforce, you can rely on us to deliver during the busiest time of the year. For both domestic and international destinations, items sent after these dates will be delivered as quickly as possible, but they may not arrive until after Christmas.
