Last year we launched our first online. We had been planning to launch an online store for a while and had intended to get it up and running in a year or so. Big projects like this take time. However, once Covid-19 hit our shores, that plan quickly changed and a timeline of 12 months turned into 12 weeks.
Covid-19 changed the way we operate. Not just for a short time, but indefinitely. For the first time ever, we had to temporarily close all of our stores - that’s a huge deal for us, our community, and our teams.
To ensure we could be there when we were needed most we launched our online store as quickly as we could. It wasn’t perfect, it didn’t include everything we had planned, but it was up and running. It allowed our customers to connect with us, it allowed our store teams to stay busy.
In the months since launching our online store, we have been flooded with support and feedback from you. Feedback on ways we can do better and be better. Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts – we’ve been listening and busily working on making improvements based on how you like to shop.
With this in mind, we hope you like our new(er) online store. Let’s call it ‘Salvos Stores Online 2.0’. It’s now faster, easier to navigate, and an all-around better shopping experience.
