This is a Latin percussion Multi-Guiro. It is a versatile percussion instrument made from stainless steel, obviously vintage as it’s been bought from Billy Hydes Pty Ltd. It has a dual playing surface, one side features prominent raised grooves similar to a traditional Cuban guiro, while the opposite side features are finer textured pattern. The hollow metal body contains shaker material. It features a removable cap so you can adjust or change the internal material to customise the shaker sound.  The instrument is missing its scraper. It looks in unused condition no marks, scrapes or dints.
