Up for auction/sale is a beautiful piece of British ceramic history: a genuine vintage Beswick Leaf Form Fan / Mantle Vase (Model 844-2). Designed in 1940 by Mr. Symcox, this elegant Art Deco piece features a striking embossed acanthus leaf pattern stretching up to a soft, wavy fan rim. Finished in a timeless matte creamy-white glaze, it makes an exquisite standalone decor piece or a striking vessel for floral arrangements. • Brand: Beswick (Made in England) • Era: 1940s (Art Deco / Mid-Century) • Model: 844-2 • Color: Matte Cream / Off-White • Material: Ceramic / Pottery • Height: Approx. 8.75 inches (22.5 cm) Condition: Good vintage display condition. The main body and glaze present beautifully with minimal wear. Please note there is a shallow chip/flake missing along the bottom edge of the unglazed foot rim (visible when tilted, but completely hidden when the vase is sitting flat on a surface). The faint original impressed model stamps on the bottom have mostly worn smooth under the glaze over time.
