This vintage hand-embroidered oval tablecloth set is crafted from a very fine, lightweight white cotton and features a magnificent central medallion of blue flowers, detailed with shaded satin stitching, French knot centres, and intricate Richelieu/Madeira-style cutwork. The entire perimeter of the tablecloth is finished with a delicate, flawlessly executed scalloped edge. The cloth is approx, 2.4mt x 1.5mt - 6-8 seater table There are six matching serviettes each with a single blue flower and scalloped edge in one corner. They are approx. 32 cm square. Included in the sale are 2 free matching serviettes, both of which have storage spots (which could possibly be removed). In well preserved vintage condition - the cloth and three of the serviettes have been used and laundered. The delicate openwork, embroidery, and scalloped edges are fully intact with no rips, pulls, or structural damage.
